Mythri Saved Suriya – Deepika From A Disaster!

Controversial filmmaker Phanindra Narsetti skipped the film’s success meet, but he was recently spotted giving an interview to a YouTube channel. Phanindra Narsetti recently made a film titled 8 Vasanthalu which ended as a big disaster.

The film also received heat from a section of the media and the Brahmin community. Meanwhile, the director revealed that his initial idea was to make the film with a star cast, Suriya and Deepika Padukone.

Mythri Movie Makers produced 8 Vasanthalu, and they discouraged the idea of making it with big stars. 8 Vasanthalu is a slow-paced drama, exploring different stages that a woman passes through. The film has a poetic touch in some places, and it is dull in many aspects.

The director revealed that the producers suggested that he make the film with new comers. “I wrote the film, keeping Suriya and Deepika in mind. But, the producers asked me to rethink, expressing a view that the film’s soul might be lost with a star cast and instead can be done with newcomers,” revealed the director.

Ananthika, Ravi Duggirala, Hanu Reddy and others were a part of the film, which released on June 20th.
