Suriya’s Aakasam Nee Haddura (“Soorarai Pottru” in Tamil) is the first star-studded movie that garnered a hit amongst other big budget movies that were released on the OTT platform in recent times.
Touted to be the fictional biopic of Captain Gorur Ramaswamy Gopinath’s life, the basic bits of the movie were adapted from the book, “Simply Fly”. Suriya proved his mettle with the movie while also getting a much-awaited super hit that he has been longing to get for a while now. This fictional biopic has managed to capture the attention of Bollywood biggies who are now looking forward to remake it in Hindi.
A leading production house from Bollywood is looking at bringing Sudha Kongara on board as the director for its Hindi. The supposed makers of the remake of Aakasam Nee Haddura have approached Shahid Kapoor for Suriya’s role. Shahid is currently busy with a bag full of movies. After Arjun Reddy remake (Kabir Singh), he is now acting in the Jersey Hindi remake.
Let us wait and watch if he says yes or no for yet another South movie remake.
