Yash’s upcoming film TOXIC continues to make headlines for various reasons. The project marks his first major outing after the KGF franchise and is currently in production. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
TOXIC is directed by Geetu Mohandas, known for her critically acclaimed work in Malayalam cinema. The film is positioned as a pan-Indian release, and expectations are naturally high given Yash’s growing popularity across languages.
Interestingly, composer Ravi Basrur, was initially associated with TOXIC. He worked on the Yash’s birthday teaser, which was released a few months ago. It was widely expected that he would be handling the film’s music as well.
However, reliable sources now indicate that the team is moving in a different direction regarding the music. It is being reported that popular composer Anirudh Ravichander has been brought on board to score the music for TOXIC. Our sources confirm that he is indeed part of the project, marking his Kannada cinema debut.
Anirudh is one of the most sought-after music directors in the country, with successful albums in Tamil and Telugu over the past decade. His association with TOXIC is expected to add further appeal to the project.
The makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding the music composer. More details about the film, including the complete cast and technical crew, are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
