Of late, we have seen a rise in the trend of making sequels to successful films. Now, Ratsasan, which is considered one of the best thrillers in Indian cinema, also joins the list. Released in 2018, this crime thriller is known for its edge-of-the-seat thrills and stunning twists.
According to the Tamil media reports, Ratsasan’s sequel will soon hit the floors with Vishnu Vishal reprising his role from the original and Ramkumar directing the project. Speaking in a recent interview, Vishnu Vishal confirmed that he is joining hands with director Ramkumar once again for Ratsasan 2, which will begin soon.
With the reports of Ratsasan sequel surfaced, people are now wishing to see Bellamkonda Sreenivas doing a sequel to Rakshasudu, which was the Telugu remake of the Tamil version. Rakshasudu was a successful outing in Telugu and remained as one of the finest films in Bellamkonda’s career. So, remaking Ratchasan’s sequel will be a great idea for sure. But we may get clarity on this sequel only after the release of Ratsasan 2.
After Rakshasudu, Bellamkonda also didn’t get any big hits over the last five years. He was recently seen in Bhairavam, which also ended up as a disappointment at the box office. He will soon be seen in Kishkindhapuri, Haindava and Tyson Naidu.
