Alia Bhatt Loses ₹76 Lakh, Ex-PA Arrested!

For actors and actresses in the film industry, when they are experiencing the peak stages of their careers, it can be difficult to have trusted people on their team to manage their schedules, dates, commitments, and finances. Now, Alia Bhatt’s former personal assistant attempted to cheat the actress by forging her signature and was finally arrested by the police.

Vedika Prakash Shetty, who had previously worked with Alia Bhatt, has been arrested by Juhu Police officials. The accused reportedly swindled money from Alia’s production house, Sunshine Productions, as well as funds from Alia’s accounts. Reportedly, she prepared fake bills to loot more than ₹ 76 lakh. The officials are currently investigating the case.

The police officials have also received a complaint about Vedika from Alia’s mother earlier this year. So far, Alia has not issued any statement in this regard.

On the work front, Alia is currently busy filming her new movie, Jee Le Zara. She will be seen alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra in the film.
