Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil made his debut in Telugu with the movie Pushpa, testing his luck in the industry. He was seen in both parts of the film, but unfortunately, received widespread criticism. While his presence and performance from the first part elevated his stature, the role he played in the second part resulted in a lot of backlash. In a recent interview, Fahadh indirectly commented about it.
Speaking in a recent interview, Fahadh revealed that he can’t do anything when certain things are out of his control. “I’ve failed with a big film in the past year, so I don’t want to talk about it. When something is out of your control, just leave it. Take your lesson and leave it!” said Fahadh.
Although he did not reveal the film’s title, everyone can think of only one movie, and that’s the Pushpa franchise. The kind of performance that Fahadh delivered in the film’s second part and his entire character arc is too silly, and Fahadh deserves better. His fans also genuinely stated that Fahadh needs to pick better scripts. But, there is an interesting story behind how Fahadh agreed to work with Sukumar for Pushpa.
Fahadh’s wife, Nazriya, who is also an actress, is fond of Sukumar’s Rangasthalam. When she learned that Fahadh is having a narration from Sukumar, she suggested that he agree to do the film without asking any questions. Fahadh openly admitted the same with Sukumar and agreed to be a part of the project, despite not having a full narration of the story and his character. Sukumar himself revealed this in a recent interview.
However, as Sukumar might be stating as to how his initial conversation went with Fahadh, the Malayalam actor might have definitely gotten the narration of the part he is playing in the project. But, certain times, when you have no control of how the character or the film is shaping up, things do go in an unexpected manner which is exactly happened with him in Pushpa 2 and he has highlighted the same in the interview.
On the other hand, Fahadh was last seen in the Tamil film Mareesan, which is in theatres now.
