NTR Reveals The Reason Behind Signing War 2

Jr NTR, who shot to national and international fame with RRR and Devara, is making his Bollywood debut this month with the much-anticipated film, War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, this action thriller features Hrithik Roshan in the other lead role. War 2 is slated for worldwide release on August 14.

In a recent interview with Esquire, Jr NTR revealed that the script’s potential and his interest in working with Hrithik made him sign War 2. “I don’t think there is a right or wrong project. Even Mr Rajamouli would agree with me that there is no recipe to deliver hit movies. But the main reason for me to choose War 2 was definitely the script, its potential and my excitement to work with Hrithik sir,” he said.

NTR said that War 2 brings the South and North cinema together. He feels there is no Bollywood, Tollywood or Mollywood anymore as everyone from all corners teamed up and formed one big united Indian film industry. NTR lauded the film producer Aditya Chopra’s perseverance in casting him appreciated director Ayan’s body of work.

NTR went on to add that he is not someone who plans things out. He said that an actor should always be ready to do anything. That readiness has probably made NTR in choosing War 2.
