Healthy competition is a sign of positivity in any field. It is no exception in Tollywood. Our young filmmakers share a great bonding with one another and compete among themselves in a healthy manner. Multiple times in the past, these directors have extended support to one another during the release of their new movies. Tharun Bhasckery Dhassyam, who made his debut with the film Pelli Choopulu, has thrown a party to his peers the other day. A few call it the celebration of International Men’s Day while a few say that it was an advance celebration of his wedding anniversary which falls today.
Directors Nag Ashwin (Mahanati fame), Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh fame), Ravikanth Perepu (Kshanam, Krishna & His Leela), Venkatesh Maha (C/O Kancharapalem, Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya), Prashant Varma (Awe fame), and a couple of others were present at the get together party.
Sharing the picture from the gathering, director Ravikanth wrote, “Tharun hosted a lovely gathering for all of us last night. International Men’s day celebrations anta.” Prashant Varma too shared the picture and wrote, “Happy International Men’s day”.
It is good to see the camaraderie between the new-age filmmakers of Tollywood.
