NTR and Hrithik to Make Their First Public Appearance Together in Hyderabad

Yash Raj Films has been keeping a low profile with promotions for their upcoming spy-action film War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film brings together Hrithik Roshan and NTR for the first time on screen. So far, the makers have not arranged any joint appearances or media interactions with the two stars.

It is said that YRF initially preferred to keep them apart during promotions to maintain the on-screen rivalry. Even when Hrithik, NTR, and Ranbir Kapoor were seen together at a private dinner with their families last year, the two leads avoided posing together for the media.

That is set to change next week. The makers and Telugu distributor Naga Vamsi have planned a pre-release event in Hyderabad where Hrithik and NTR will appear together for the first time. The event is scheduled for August 10 at Yusufguda Police Grounds. This will be the first major promotional activity for the film in the Telugu states.

For NTR fans, it will also be the first big public event since Devara, whose pre-release event was cancelled at the last minute due to crowd issues. This time, organisers are making arrangements for a large turnout.

Advance bookings for War 2 are steady at the moment. With the film releasing on August 14, the Hyderabad event is expected to draw attention and potentially give ticket sales a boost, especially in the Telugu market.
