Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s GMB Entertainment backed as presenter, with A+S Movies producing the Pan India hit Major. They will be collaborating again, while SriChakraas Entertainments of KA fame joining as production partner.
The very talented Satya Dev plays the lead role, while Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya fame doing the multiple responsibilities as a writer, director, and editor. Since Mahesh Babu and Narmada loved the script so much, they immediately accepted to serve as presenters.
Rao Bahadur is the title locked for the movie, and the first look poster shows Satya Dev in a royal yet aged avatar. Sporting a grey handlebar moustache, he exudes nobility with a royal cap, pearl necklaces, and rings adorning his fingers. The costume design incorporates peacock feathers and vine patterns. Interestingly, the poster also includes miniature figures of children at play.
The first look poster piques curiosity. Set against the backdrop of a fading aristocratic era, Rao Bahadur delves into the human psyche through an intense psychological drama.
Coming to the technical crew, the film has cinematography handled by Kartik Parmar and music composed by Smaran Sai. As announced by the makers, the film’s teaser called Not A Teaser will be released in theatres on Independence Day, whereas it will have a digital release on August 18th.
The movie Rao Bahadur will grace the theatres worldwide during the summer season next year.
