Rule Of Law: Pulivendula Finally Sees Election

The Pulivendula constituency is one of the strongholds of the YS family. The fact that this constituency has historically been with the YS family and even the local body elections are almost always won unanimously is a clear indication of this dominance.

Much of this dominance reportedly came from unruly behaviour and an outrageous display of power. But for a change, the onset of the NDA government has resulted in the return of the rule of law in the Pulivendula constituency as well.

For the first time in many years, the constituency is witnessing an actual electoral process, with the ZPTC elections being held in a fair and transparent manner.

YSR Congress leaders like Avinash Reddy and Satish Reddy, who allegedly tried to create public disturbances, were arrested in advance, which helped maintain order. More importantly, transparency is being ensured as TDP leaders like Ram Bhupal Reddy and others have also been arrested.

Polling is currently underway, and once counting is completed, the results will be watched with great interest.

The crucial point to note here is that the Pulivendula local elections are being held in open grounds without power abuse for the first time in many years. This is a welcome change for the people of the constituency, as the principles of democracy are finally being applied here.
