The Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation has called out for a strike which is known to everyone. They want their wages to be hiked and until then, they decided to not take part in the film shootings. Today, the producers council met them to find an amicable solution but unfortunately, the meeting did not yeild a fruitful solution.
Both the film bodies wanted to meet a closure without any political interference. They planned to resolve the issues but despite no shootings happening for nine days, the employees are not ready to get convinced to the proposals made by the producers.
The producers wanted to increase the wages of workers who are getting less paid. They do not want to agree to the hike of 30 percent for all the employees. But, the Employees Federation is not willing to agree to this because of which the discussions failed.
The Employees Federation declined all the proposals put forward by the producers, which means the strike will continue. We have to see where this will lead to now.
