The Nandamuri family has been struck with grief as Padmaja, wife of Nandamuri Jayakrishna, passed away in the early hours of today. She was 73 years old.
Padmaja was the eldest daughter-in-law of Sr NTR. She was also the sister of Daggubati Venkateswara Rao.
According to family sources, Padmaja had been unwell for the past few months. Last night, she experienced severe breathing problems and was admitted to the hospital. Despite the doctors’ efforts, she breathed her last early this morning.
The news has deeply saddened the Nandamuri family. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu rushed from Vijayawada while BJP MP Daggubati Purandeswari started from Delhi to pay their respects.
