The Telugu Film Industry Workers Federation finally ended their strike today. They officially confirmed that the shootings will be resumed from tomorrow. This is a big relief to many producers who have been eagerly waiting for the work to resume. It looks like the discussions and negotiations between the workers federation and the producers ended fruitfully.
The first bunch of films that will hit the floors on priority are more in number. Ravi Teja’s Mass Jathara will be the first one to hit the floors. The team announced August 27th as the release date already but the postponement is on cards. The team has to finish the shoot of a song which is pending. The shoot is expected to resume tomorrow.
On the other hand, there are some big budgeted flicks also which will hit the floors. Allu Arjun’s film with Atlee is expected to be resumed tomorrow. Additionally, Prashanth Neel who has been actively filming the movie #NTRNeel will also restart the shoot. We also hear that some patch work of Akhanda 2 will also hit the floors.
Simultaneously, all other producers and filmmakers will begin cheking out new schedules for the pending shoot of their films. It’s been close to 18 days since the shootings have come to a halt. Finally, after the intervention of Megastar Chiranjeevi and also the enquiries from the Telangana government, things moved ahead with both parties finding a resolution.
More details are expected to be out soon.
