Actress Anupama Parameswaran gave her heart and soul to the film Paradha. She promoted it with full confidence and urged audiences to experience it in theatres. While the film did not receive the kind of response the makers expected at the box office, Anupama’s dedication and effort have been widely noticed and appreciated.
Director Praveen Kandregula attempted to convey a deep and serious message through the film, but the execution did not connect strongly with the audience, especially in the second half. However, what stood out for many viewers and critics was Anupama’s performance. She considered this her career-best role, and many agree that she carried the emotional weight of the story with sincerity.
Sometimes, films with meaningful intentions do not translate into commercial success, but they do leave behind memorable performances. That is exactly the case with Anupama in Paradha. Even if the film failed at box office, lead actors performance is one of the biggest strengths of the project.
Looking ahead, Anupama is ready to bounce back with her next film Kishkindakanda, releasing on September 12, alongside Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas.
