Nag Ashwin’s Female Centric Film: Alia Out, Malayalam Actress In?

Director Nag Ashwin’s name is trending across social media, as he plans to do a film with Superstar Rajinikanth. Although no official source has confirmed the news so far, here is another scoop about the director’s lineup. As per the buzz, Nag Ashwin is planning to do a female-centric film, for which veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao provides the story.

Earlier, there were rumors that Nag Ashwin would team up with Alia Bhatt for a female-oriented project, made on a grand scale with a big budget. However, the latest reports confirm that the project was either put on a back burner or been called off.

More interestingly, a leading heroine from the Malayalam film industry is reportedly in talks to play the lead character in this upcoming film of Nag Ashwin. As of now, there is no confirmation on the same and Vyjayanthi Movies would be bankrolling the project.

Apart from this Nag Ashwin also plans to take Kalki Part 2 on to the floors at the earliest. Starring Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan, Kalki 2 pre-production is in full swing.
