Actor Pradeep Ranganathan joined hands with director Vignesh Shivan for the romantic comedy drama, Love Insurance Kompany. The “First Punch” teaser of this movie was released today, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. The teaser showcases the film as a futuristic love story set in Chennai in the year 2040.
Going by the teaser, it looks like the film portrays the story of a young man who experiences love at first sight in the age of evolutionship. How he managed to win his love and how a crooked businessman (SJ Suriyah) affected his love might be the main crux of the film.
The teaser is filled with witty futuristic touches, including Mission Impossible 14’s poster featuring Yash, a smart umbrella with weather predictions, running, texting and cycling tracks and a Thalaivar 189 poster.
The chemistry between Pradeep Ranganathan and lead actress Krithi Shetty seems to be the major attraction of the film, along with the soulful music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Nayanthara and SS Lalit Kumar are jointly bankrolling the project. LIK is slated for a worldwide release on October 17, during the Diwali festive season.
