Malayalam Actress Kidnaps & Assaults An IT Employee!

Malayalam actress Lakshmi Menon is facing charges in a kidnapping case now. However, she moved to the Kerala High Court, seeking anticipatory bail. The details provided by the cops say that Lakshmi Menon, along with her other friends, is accused of abducting and assaulting an IT employee in Ernakulam after an argument at a bar.

The police officials nabbed all the accused except the actress, who was now granted protection from arrest. The incident reportedly took place on the night of August 24th, when the actor and her friends allegedly blocked the victim’s vehicle near the railway bridge.

Reportedly, the actress and her friends verbally abused him and forcibly pushed him into their car. A case has been registered against the four persons under sections 3(5) (common intention), 140(2) (kidnapping or abduction), 126 (wrongful restraint), 296 (obscene acts and songs), 127(2) (wrongful confinement), 115(2) (voluntarily causing hurt), and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Lakshmi Menon acted in films like Gajaraju, Indrudu, Chandramukhi 2, Sundarapandian, Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya, Sabdham, and others.
