Little Hearts Trailer Talk: Small Film, Big Heart

The theatrical trailer for 90’s A Middle Class Biopic fame Mouli Prashanth’s forthcoming coming-of-age film, Little Hearts, was launched earlier today. Little Hearts is produced by Aditya Hasan, who directed the 90s A Middle Class Biopic.

Little Hearts’ trailer showcases the love story of two middle-class teenage students, Mouli as Akhil and Shivani Nagaram as Kathyayini, who are poor in academics. The quirkiness in the setup and characters comes out quite well through the dialogues and characterizations of the young lead couple.

The confusion that arises between teenage lovers, their lovers’ tiffs, the separation, their friends, teacher, and finally their parents—together they make for a hilarious fun ride. Mouli seems to have delivered yet another relatable performance that may resonate well with the young audiences. Shivani looks every bit a girl-next-door.

Sai Marthand is set to make a promising debut with Little Hearts. The film is co-produced by ETV Win, while Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati are distributing it. Rajeev Kanakala, Anitha Chowdary, Sathya Krishnan, and SS Kanchi play Akhil and Kathyayini’s parents, respectively. The film is locked for its theatrical release on September 5, 2025.
