Sivakarthikeyan and Rukmini Vasanth’s action thriller Madharaasi, directed by AR Murugadoss, is set to release on September 5th. Today, the team celebrated the film’s pre-release event in Hyderabad.
Sivakarthikeyan, who has delivered several hits in recent times and significantly expanded his market reach with his previous film Amaran, is hopeful of continuing his success streak with Madharaasi.
“I’m here in Hyderabad for my new film Madharaasi. This is a film by Murugadoss, a director who has worked with big stars like Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu. I am very happy to be working with him. This is a solid film. Rockstar Anirudh has given super hit songs and wonderful score.
Tirupati Prasad has produced big films. When the content is good, he is willing to spend any budget. That is why Telugu cinema frequently deliver the 1000 crore hits. Rukmini is a wonderful co-star. In this film, love and action are the two pillars. The love portion especially stands out because of Rukmini. Another pillar of this film is Vidyut Jamwal. The action sequences with him are crazily good.
So far, in my films like Remo, Varun Doctor, College Don, Mahaveerudu, and Amaram, I have received great support. I believe Madharaas will also get the same support. More than success, the love you give is very special. This film has a good story and action. You will like it.”
Sivakarthikeyan revealed that his real inspiration to enter the films is Superstar Rajinikanth.
