Lokah Franchise Will Continue for 5 Parts!

In Indian cinema, regular stories are not enough to bring people to theatres anymore. Audiences want something big and exciting. That is why many filmmakers are now making sequels, crossover films, and cinematic universes. These ideas are working well at the box office, and we are seeing this trend in almost every film industry.

The latest example is Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. The film is running strongly in theatres and shocking everyone with its collections. Even after the first weekend, the movie is showing very good consistency and is being talked about everywhere.

The film is directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. It was made on a budget of around ₹35 crore. But the visuals and quality look much bigger, and many people are surprised that such a film was made at this cost. At the box office, the film is eyeing nearly ₹100 crore gross in its first week. Trade experts believe the final run could easily cross ₹200 crore, a huge number for a superheroine film.

Because of this success, Lokah is now becoming a big brand not only in Malayalam but also in Telugu and Tamil. After the OTT release, the film will reach an even wider audience, and the next parts will have strong pan-India demand.

The team has also confirmed that Lokah will be a five-part series. Director Dominic Arun said that all five stories were ready even before the first film started shooting. He also added that the opening scene of Chandra has a small clue about the main villain of the whole series.

This success is important because it proves that audiences are ready to support new genres and fresh storytelling. If the upcoming parts continue the same quality, Lokah can grow into one of the biggest cinematic universes from Indian cinema.
