Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will next be seen in a supernatural thriller Kishkindhapuri. Koushik Pegallapati is directing the movie on Sahu Garapati’s Shine Screens, that stars Anupama Parameswaran playing the leading lady. Already, the film’s teaser that introduced the creepy backdrop of the movie received a superb response. Today, they released the film’s trailer.
The story centres around Suvarna Maya, a haunted house in the town of Kishkindhapuri. A group of ghost-chasing individuals, including the protagonist and his girlfriend, enter the house only to encounter a series of supernatural horrors that blur the lines between myth and madness.
Koushik Pegallapati constructs an eerie, immersive world that leans into slow-burn terror. From Chinmay Salaskar’s unnerving cinematography to Chaitan Bharadwaj’s anxiety-inducing score, Kishkindhapuri feels like a technically solid attempt at horror-thriller storytelling. The art direction and production design lend authenticity to the supernatural setting.
Bellamkonda sheds his usual massy image to portray a role that evolves from grounded to intense. Anupama Parameswaran too transforms into a vessel of dread in the trailer’s climax.
The trailer promises a haunting ride, with its creepy setting. It indeed set the expectations high for the movie due for release on the 12th of this month.
