A day before its release, the makers of Ghaati released a new “Release Glimpse”, giving a sneak peek into the action avatar of Anushka Shetty in the film. For the last few days, industry sources have widely reported that Ghaati will unleash the unseen action side of Anushka, and her action episodes are going to be the major highlights of the film.
This release glimpse also promises some stunning action sequences of Anushka from the film. It is a new side of Anushka, pulling off some hefty action stunts, like a mass hero. The visuals look good, and Anushka’s intense performance increases the hype around these scenes. The last dialogue of the teaser, where Anushka says, “Vaallu Oorukoru, Veellu Oorukoru ante Nenu Oorukonu,” stands out as an icing on the cake.
The teaser looks good and the film looks promising, but the advance bookings of Ghaati were underwhelming so far. Even though she didn’t promote the film physically, Anushka did a lot of “voice” promotions for this movie. But did that voice promotion help the movie’s bookings? Did Ghaati manage to reach wider sections of the audience? The advance sales suggest not so.
Thus, the movie’s result will entirely depend on a solid hit talk and a strong word of mouth. Considering it features a powerhouse talent like Anushka and is directed by a creative filmmaker like Krish Jagarlamudi, it remains to be seen if Ghaati becomes a surprise winner at the box office.
