‘Back to Back Religious Films?’ Teja Sajja’s Brilliant Answer!

There is a new and successful trend in the movie industry: films with some connection to mythology are performing exceptionally well at the box office. However, they have to be well-made, and there are even instances of films failing miserably, such as Adipurush.

Now, young hero Teja Sajja attempted HanuMan, which worked well at the box office. His next release, Mirai, also has a connection with mythology in a small way. So, the Hindi media questioned him as to why his films are religious. Teja was actually surprised but gave a clever answer for that.

Teja Sajja participated in the promotions of Mirai in Mumbai yesterday. Speaking at the event, Teja shared a lot of interesting insights into the film. He also shared his thought process about working on the film and his career plans, in general.

However, when Teja was asked the particular question of blending religious flavour into his movies, the young hero straightaway questioned as to why there are no questions to an actor who is doing a love story after a love story. “Why are you not asking them when they are doing the same films. In fact, I think you should feel happy that we are trying to tell Dharma through our films,” said Teja.

Teja also defended his choices, saying HanuMan is a superhero kind of story which has a religious element. However, the movie also has a sister sentiment and several other angles in it. Simultaneously, Teja stated that the Mirai trailer has only a few seconds of a glimpse of Lord Sriram. But, the film also has thrill, fantasy, and many more elements.

On a concluding note, Teja also mentioned that he is trying to teach a moral with each film by blending our Dharma in it and his response received an appreciation from everyone.
