Crazy: Anime Fans Setting New Records at the Box Office!

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle is one of the upcoming films at the Indian box office. The Japanese animated dark fantasy action film is a direct sequel is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, produced by Ufotable, and written by the studio’s staff members. Meanwhile, can you imagine that a animated film is going to set the Indian box office on fire? Yes, it is happening on the coming Friday.

In some areas, the 5 AM shows are being added on public demand, in the IMAX format. The film is already registering historic advance sales in various parts of the country. The demand is so high that most of the shows are getting sold out in no time. Almost, every show is registering the filling fast status.

It gives way for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle to become the first ever animated movie to have 5 AM shows. The advance sales hint us that the release day opening would be a shocker to the trade. The sensational pre-bookings in IMAX across the states is a proof that people are willing to come to theatres.

Even in Hyderabad, the advance bookings are good. The craze of animation is steadily going up in India. The Telugu audiences also love the anime content. With the film hitting the screens on September 12th, there may be an impact of this film on new releases. In the case of the Telugu states, the shows allocated to Demon Slayer is very less, and hence the impact on new Telugu releases could be less.

If Demon Slayer gets a big positive word of mouth from everyone, and if new releases fail, then the situation could turn advantageous for Demon Slayer, with a demand rising for additional shows of the movie.
