Kamal Breaks Silence on Multistarrer with Rajinikanth

Ever since Lokesh Kanagaraj worked with Kamal Haasan, there have been speculations that the director is planning to bring both Kamal and Rajini for a film together. Now, Kamal made it official during the SIIMA award event, saying, “We will come together.”

When the hosts asked Kamal if that project is going to happen anytime soon or if there is any truth in it, the legendary actor revealed that the film is going to happen soon. “Rajini & I are supposed to collaborate long back. It might be a surprise business-wise. We can’t say if it’s Tharamana Sambavam. If the audience likes, we are happy,” Kamal said.

Kamal Haasan revealed that the trade will be surprised by the numbers that will be involved. However, he is also very humble about the collaboration. “For me, it is another chance. You may think we will compete with one another but I see it as a chance to work with him. Other than that, there is nothing more. We will come together this time. We always wanted to produce each others’ films,” revealed Kamal.

Very recently, Lokesh directed Coolie, starring Rajinikanth and previously, Kamal and Lokesh worked on Vikram. Although Kamal made it official, it may take more than an year for the project to actually get materialized.
