Fahadh Faasil is one of the super stars of Malayalam cinema whose track record is shaken up a bit. Of late, the law of averages seems to be working on his career, resulting in him scoring the flops. However, an upcoming collaboration of his is creating a special interest on social media now.
In a recent interview, director Prem Kumar revealed that Fahadh Faasil will soon be working with him. The story narration was done and Fahadh instantly liked it. “My Next film is with Fahadh Faasil. It will be a thriller with Action, but my core emotion touch will be there. I narrated 45 mins to Fafa & he liked a lot,” the director revealed.
“It is a direct Tamil film and we will begin the shoot from January,” said the director.
In the last few years, Fahadh’s only solo hit has been Aavesham. The other films, including Irul, Joji, Malik, Malayankunju, Dhoomam, and Mareesan, failed at the box office, despite some of them receiving critical acclaim. His latest Onam release, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, also ended as a flop.
Prem Kumar is a sensible director, and his films already have a good fan base, with hits like 96 (which was remade in Telugu as Jaanu) and Sathyam Sundaram. He is a great story teller who weave his plots around strong emotions. Hence, we can expect that Fahadh makes a solid comeback with Prem Kumar. If that happens, then, Fahadh is back in the box office game now.
