Kishkindhapuri’s Premieres Despite Clash, Is It a Good Move?

Mirai and Kishkindhapuri are two movies gearing up for a grand release tomorrow at the box office in the Telugu states. Teja Sajja stars in Mirai, while Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas features in the lead role of Kishkindhapuri. In both films, Mirai is carrying a positive buzz among the film circles, but team Kishkindhapuri wants to take an advantage ahead of the film’s release with paid premieres.

Team Kishkindhapuri is organizing paid premieres this evening in Hyderabad and some other main cities of telugu states. A lot of shows are being planned across single screens and multiplexes. The film’s trailer created a special interest among the audience. Moreover, the film, being a horror entertainer, is also tempting the viewers.

The horror genre always has a dedicated fan base in Telugu, and if the premieres generate positive talk, that will be a big advantage for the movie against Mirai which is the first preference for moviegoers tomorrow.

Very recently, the makers of Little Hearts also held the paid premieres, ahead of the film’s release and the strategy worked big time for them. However, considering Bellamkonda’s last film Bhairavam not performing well at the box office, we are unsure if the audiences would be showing interest to catch the paid premieres.

Whatever it may be, if the movie clicks, it will bring Bellamkonda, Anupama and the film’s director Kaushik back to success. If paid premieres get a mixed response, then it may definitely benefit Mirai tomorrow, making the competition tilt further in its favor. Let’s see how the tables turn in a few hours.
