Zombie Reddy is one of the first films with a zombie backdrop, being made in Telugu. The film was made as a satire on COVID-19 on a fun note, in the backdrop of Rayalaseema. However, the film’s sequel is currently under discussion. Directed by Prashanth Varma, he will reunite with Teja Sajja for Zombie Reddy 2.
Already, the second part is announced, and with Teja Sajja enjoying a nationwide popularity, the makers want to make the film with the intention of appealing to the national and global audiences.
“Part two is going to be on another level, at an international standard. We are not missing out on fun. This time, we want to deliver a zombie film to international audiences. Usually, we watch international films, but now we are going to deliver one.” Teja Sajja revealed.
Already, our Telugu movies have gained International reach, and around this time, a film with Zombies will surely catch the attention of foreign moviegoers. The technical standards of Telugu movies have also gone up, and if Mirai becomes a hit, it will boost Teja’s career further. Already, his HanuMan also performed well at the box office.
If Mirai passes the test of success, it will pool in best resources for the making of Zombie Reddy 2.
