Arjun Das is one of the talented actors from the South Indian film industry. Although he made his debut with the Telugu film Oxygen, he could not get a big push into Tollywood. However, he earned a big career break with the immediate release Kaithi. Post the success of Kaithi, Arjun was flooded with a lot of offers in Tamil. However, OG is Arjun’s trump card for him to sneak into Telugu cinema once again.
Arjun Das’ debut, Oxygen, did not bring him good name. Later, he did another Telugu film titled Butta Bomma. Arjun Das played one of the leads in the movie. Despite putting up a good performance, Arjun Das did not get the much-anticipated break. The great strength of Arjun is his voice, with which he has done wonders and even impressed Pawan Kalyan as well, who personally requested him to deliver a voice-over for HHVM.
Now, Arjun Das got a crucial character in OG, and it has been designed in such a way that the character gets a lot of attention. Since his previous 2 Telugu films didn’t work out at the box office, he didn’t get any proper recognition. Even though Arjun Das grew popular in Tamil with films like Kaithi, Master, Good bad ugly and a cameo appearance in Vikram, he is still lacking that big push.
With OG releasing in both Telugu and Tamil and going by what the sources are saying, the film could be a game-changer in his career. If his role works in OG well, then he may get more offers than his talent deserves. Moreover, he could instantly become the go-to person for certain roles in Telugu.
Directed by Sujeeth, OG is hitting the screens on September 25th.
