After facing allegations of political favouring and untoward bias under the previous Jagan administration, Andhra Pradesh cricket Association is now getting back on. In fact, things are starting to look promising than ever for the ACA.

The latest developments are suggesting that the Andhra Pradesh cricket Association has brought in Gary Stead as the head coach of the side. 

For those who don’t already know about Gary Stead, he was the former coach of the New Zealand men’s cricket team and is a senior professional of the game. 

Gary was the head of the New Zealand coaching department for seven years, and this was precisely when the black team gained number one position in the test format and also in the ODI format. In fact, they even won the world test championship under his coaching.

Garry is one of the legendary coaches in international cricket in recent decades, and the fact that he is now set to Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association is a pretty big deal. This should be a great learning curve for the players, and also the support staff as they will get to work under a legendary international coach.

One of the principal complaints against Andhra cricket Association and tear is the lack of delivery in the national circuit, and this could very well change under the coaching of Gary Stead.
