Zombie Reddy 2: Teja Sajja’s Next Film Confirmed

Teja Sajja has become one of the most talked-about actors in recent times in Telugu cinema. In 2024, his film Hanuman during Sankranti was a big hit. After that, many wondered if he could do well again. He proved them wrong with Mirai, which opened well and received good reviews. Now, everyone is curious about his next film.

Teja Sajja will star in the sequel to Zombie Reddy. The first Zombie Reddy, starring Teja Sajja and directed by Prashant Varma, released in February 2021. It was a small film but did well at the box office and was liked on OTT and TV.

Initially, Naga Vamsi was expected to produce the sequel, but now TG Vishwa Prasad, under People Media Factory, will produce the film. Prashant Varma will handle the script and act as showrunner. The director has not been officially confirmed yet, but reports say Bollywood filmmaker Suparn Verma, known for The Family Man and Rana Naidu, is likely to direct.

The film is expected to start shooting before the Mirai sequel, Mirai – Jaithraya. The official announcement about Zombie Reddy 2 will be made soon.

An interesting part of Teja Sajja’s filmography is that three of his films – Zombie Reddy, Hanuman, and Mirai – are getting sequels, though he is not leading in the Hanuman sequel, Jai Hanuman.
