Kishkindhapuri’s Costly Miss at Tamil Box Office?

Leo fame Sandy master needs no introduction to the audience, especially after he gained recognition in the movie. In recent times, he got another author-backed role in the Malayalam film Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra. He is the main villain in the movie. In no time, Sandy master got another good character in the Telugu film Kishkindhapuri, marking his debut.

Sandy master played the main villain in the film, and his character is a physically challenged person. The way he played the role and emoted is too good. His role is designed in such a way that it fits the bill perfectly for a horror film. Sandy even underwent a physical transformation for this movie.

The team intentionally did not reveal that Sandy master is playing the villain, which is an element of suspense. But, at least after the film’s release, they could have involved him during the promotions. Moreover, the team could also make use of Sandy’s newfound popularity with Lokah.

The Telugu audiences liked his performance and shared positive tweets about him on social media. Overnight, he became the talk of the town in both the Telugu and Tamil film industries. However, team Kishkindhapuri had failed to promote the movie in Tamil by making him the poster boy during the post-release promotions.

If they had promoted the film well in Tamil with his presence, it might have received good numbers from Tamil too. A video byte of Sandy is trending online, where he spoke about the movie, but he should step up to promote the film further.

On the flip side, team Lokah promoted the film in Tamil, giving due importance to Sandy master in the promotions and his presence did give some traction to the movie.
