Police Encounter Gangsters Behind Firing at Disha Patani’s Home

Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s family in Bareilly had a terrifying experience when unidentified men opened fire on their Civil Lines residence in the early hours of the morning. Disha’s father, retired DSP Jagdish Singh Patani, along with her mother and sister, were inside at the time but escaped unharmed.

The incident caused a major stir after gangster Goldy Brar openly claimed responsibility online. He alleged that the attack was linked to comments made by Disha and her sister against certain religious figures, and even issued fresh threats through his network.

Taking the matter seriously, a joint team of UP STF and Delhi Police tracked down two suspects in Ghaziabad. When cornered, the men opened fire at police, leading to a fierce encounter. Both were shot and injured, and one later died in hospital.

A large haul of weapons, including foreign-made pistols and live cartridges, was seized from the spot. Investigators now believe an international crime syndicate is backing the attack, with strong evidence pointing toward Goldy Brar’s gang.

Police are digging deeper to find out who exactly ordered the hit on Disha’s family and whether more gang members are still hiding. The case has now entered a high-stakes phase.
