Dhanush’s Idli Kottu Trailer: A Heart Touching Tale

Dhanush scored big hits in recent times by directing the films Raayan and Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama. Now, he is back again with a new movie, titled Idli Kadai, releasing in Telugu as Idli Kottu. He teamed up with actor Raj Kiran for his first film, Power Paandi.

The team unveiled the film’s trailer, which is filled with heartfelt emotions. Dhanush cooked up an interesting drama this time, which has got an ego struggle between him and Arun Vijay. Dhanush starts off with humble beginnings as his father runs a small idli joint in his village. Dhanush later goes abroad to pursue a successful career as a chef, forgetting his roots.

However, after an ego clash with Arun Vijay, in whose company he works, Dhanush returns to his village and starts an idli joint. In simple terms, this is the plot of the movie that was showcased in the trailer. Although it looks simple, it is the drama that is expected to hook the audience.

Nithya Menen plays Dhanush’s wife in the film, while Raj Kiran plays his father. GV Prakash Kumar is the film’s music director. The trailer looks emotionally enriched and also has action elements in the right proportion.

The film is hitting the screens on October 1st, 2025.
