Teja Sajja Creates Sensational Record with Mirai

Teja Sajja’s superhero fantasy Mirai is rewriting records at the global box office. In just eight days, the film has stormed past $2.5 million in the United States and is now racing toward the $3 million mark. After HanuMan, Teja Sajja yet again delivered a 2.5 Million USD plus film with Mirai. For a young Telugu hero, this is an extraordinary achievement that confirms Teja’s growing overseas dominance. Only Prabhas and NTR hold such rare record in the US. Currently, the team is touring in the US and basking in the stupendous success.

Back home, the film’s momentum remains rock solid. On Day 8 alone, more than 1.2 lakh tickets were sold on BookMyShow, proving the movie’s sustained craze among Indian audiences. With this strong domestic response, Mirai is inching towards ₹150 crore worldwide gross, marking the biggest success of Teja Sajja’s career.

The feat is all the more remarkable given that Teja had earlier delivered HanuMan, a $2.5 million-plus US grosser. To now follow it up with Mirai at $2.5 million and counting firmly cements his stature as a bankable superstar in the fantasy-superhero genre.

Mirai turned out to be a huge profitable venture for producers TG Vishwa Prasad, Kriti Prasad under People Media Factory banner. The film’s distributors, exhibitors and buyers all over are laughing all the way to the banks.
