OG Concert: Firestorm Vs Thunderstorm

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s OG pre-release event ended in the most disappointing manner for the fans. They eagerly waited to listen to all speeches where the actors would share interesting things about PK. But the rain took over, disrupting the event completely. The team had wanted to provide a wonderful experience for the fans, but the event ultimately ended in chaos. However, in the end, Pawan Kalyan’s entry and speech are the saving grace.

The event started off on a grand note, with the fans turning out in big numbers with OG chants. The makers intentionally picked LB stadium as the venue over Shilpakala Vedika, thinking that rain would not disrupt them. However, the rain started early, hampering the speeches of all the guests.

However, the entry of Pawan Kalyan and his poses with a Katana stunned many. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan attended a pre-release event for the first time in the film’s costume, which is a big surprise to many. Even in his speech, Pawan heaped praises on the cast and crew. But, crooning Washi O Washi is the main highlight.

Apart from Pawan’s entry and speech, the rest of everything with regard to the event is a disappointment. There has been a buzz about Sujeeth’s speech that he would drop a big surprise but he did not get a chance to speak. The other guests and actors also could not speak except Priyanka mohan and Arjun das. Probably, the team might plan a press meet separately.

On the flip side, Pawan Kalyan was adamant about releasing the trailer, and the team played it at the venue, but it was not showcased on the live streaming. Pawan’s speech, the trailer screening, and Thaman’s partly concert are the positives of the event.

Having said and done, OG Concert event becomes the biggest ever with record viewership on YouTube.
