Rukmini’s Hopes Of Success Falls On Kantara’s Princess

Rukmini Vasanth debuted with Kannada film Saptha Sagara Dhaati Ello. The two-part film brought a lot of recognition to the actress, and the media claimed that she would be the next star heroine in the industry. But, her poor choices prevented her from upping her game in the glamour world. However, she is now betting high on another Kannada film for scoring a success, this time with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1.

Rukmini debuted alongside Rakshit Shetty, and she is now playing the role of a princess in Kantara’s prequel. Although there has been minimal buzz about her character from the film, the makers released the trailer today, hinting at her significance in the narrative.

Looking at the trailer, it seems Rukmini has the character that changes the equations of the film with the love track between the princess and a tribal warrior. This theme always worked in several movies, but since this is a period film, we have to see how it will change the dynamics of the film.

Looks wise, Rukmini looks like the real princess. She is beautiful in whatever shots she was shown in the trailer. If her character truly carries a depth, it would become a golden opportunity for the actress to dodge over the flops she tasted in the recent times, to score a massive blockbuster.

Rukmini was last seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharaasi, and it did not help her in any manner. If Kantara: Chapter 1 delivers a massive success to Rukmini, she could elevate it with NTR-Neel’s Dragon immediately. During the film’s promotions, we could be aware of the prominence that Rukmini will have in the movie.
