Lokah Universe: A Quick Start to Part 2

Dulquer Salmaan’s recent production venture, the Lokah superhero series, tasted success with its first part, Chandra, which became Malayalam cinema’s all-time industry hit by surpassing Mohanlal’s Empuraan.

Now, the series focuses on bringing the other super heroes of the universe. The second part is titled Lokah: Chapter 2 – Michael, focusing on the life of Tovino Thomas. The makers already confirmed the same and to take the anticipation to next level, they shared a teaser, featuring Tovino and Dulquer.

Dulquer Salmaan is also a part of this series, where he plays Charlie. In the teaser that was released today, both Tovino and Dulquer are engaged in a fun conversation. Tovino plays a joyful character while Dulquer is mostly reserved. Tovino tries to pull Dulquer’s leg asking him to stay in touch but Dulquer seems to be uninterested.

Eventually, Tovino tells Dulquer about his issues with his brother and seeks help. Dulquer declines the request but then Tovino convinces that the goblins will come for him and he must help. Dulquer then asks Tovino to call him when needed. They also talk about Mothon (Big Brother) who is also a part of the series, likely to be played by Mammootty.

The entire teaser goes on a fun mode and they even crack a joke about Kalyani Priyadarshan on who, the first part is centered around. Tovino was also seen in the first part of the series in a special appearance in the second half of the movie. He tried to bring in some laughs in theatres.

Now, the second part of the series focused on Michael character is also expected to be on a fun note, by following the setup and theme. Directed by Dominic Arun, the second part’s shoot will begin soon.
