OG Makers to Add Neha Shetty’s Special Song from Monday

Songs have always been important in Telugu films. In the past, filmmakers even added new songs after release to bring back audiences. But now, things have changed. Viewers prefer stories that move quickly, and songs that don’t fit are often removed even if they cost a lot of money.

Pawan Kalyan’s new film They Call Him OG released on Thursday. The movie, directed by Sujeeth, has received good word of mouth from the audience. Pawan is seen in a powerful action role. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy and Prakash Raj. Music is by Thaman S, and it is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments.

Before release, many expected Neha Shetty’s special song to be part of the film. It was shot in Bangkok in December 2024, and Neha even shared behind-the-scenes moments on her social media. But the song was missing in the final version, which led to questions from fans.

Speaking about it, Thaman said the team felt the song disturbed the film’s flow, so it was removed. Later, they worked on a new idea to bring it back in a fresh way. He confirmed that the song will be added to theatres from Monday.

The makers are also planning a success meet in Hyderabad on Wednesday. With the film running well and Neha Shetty’s special song being added, They Call Him OG is expected to continue strong at the box office.
