Mega Powerstar Ram Charan completes eighteen years in the film industry, having made his debut with the sensational hit Chirutha, directed by Puri Jagannadh. People were very interested in his first movie because he is the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi. But Charan quickly showed that he was more than just his father’s son. His strong acting and energy in the film Chirutha helped him win the Filmfare Award and the Nandi Special Jury Award. This made him a new star in the film world.
Even with such an auspicious start, Charan was not merely content with safe choices. His second film, Magadheera directed by SS Rajamouli, shattered box office records, ending up as an industry hit.
After trying out different subjects and scoring massive hits, Charan gave a pleasant surprise with Rangasthalam. This role became a touchstone, reflecting Charan’s depth as an actor and his willingness to transform for storytelling’s sake. His portrayal of Alluri Seetha Rama Raju in RRR further proved his charisma on a pan-Indian stage, earning accolades across the nation.
Charan’s father Megastar extended heartfelt wishes to son on the occasion. “That very first moment I saw you on screen as a hero is something I can never forget as a father. Your discipline, hard work, perseverance, humility, and dedication have carved out a special place for you in the industry,” reads the message.
Ram Charan continues to blaze his own trail, with a journey from Chirutha to his upcoming film Peddi that exemplifies passion, persistence, and innovation.
