Kantara: Chapter 1 pre-release event took place this evening in the presence of NTR as the chief guest. Starring Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, the film is hitting the screens on October 2nd, with paid premieres on the 1st of October.
“Rishab sir is a very rare breed of directors. I always wonder if the actor in him dominates the director or the director in him dominates the actor. If it is not for Rishab sir, I am unsure if this film gets made,” said NTR, recollecting the memories of his visit to Udupi Sri Krishna temple along with Rishab Shetty.
NTR also wished that Kantara would become a big blockbuster in the history of Indian cinema.
Through out his speech, NTR is seen struggling as he spoke in less josh. He was recently injured while filming an Ad and is recovering from the same. He also confessed of feeling pain during the speech.
Kantara: Chapter 1 is produced by Hombale Films.
