Domestic Worker Alleges Abuse by Dimple Hayathi and Husband

Hyderabad police have registered a case against actress Dimple Hayathi and her husband Victor David. The complaint was filed by their domestic worker, 22-year-old Priyanka Bibar from Odisha, at Film Nagar Police Station.

Priyanka started working at their Shaikpet residence on September 22. She claimed that she was verbally abused, humiliated and not given proper food.

On September 29, she said a disagreement turned into threats and physical assault. Priyanka also alleged that Victor David broke her phone when she tried to record the incident and that her clothes were torn during the scuffle.

The couple has faced legal issues before. In 2023, they were involved in an incident in Jubilee Hills where a police officer’s car was damaged during a dispute.

The new case has been registered under Sections 74, 79, 351(2), and 324(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Investigations are ongoing. So far, neither Dimple nor Victor has made any public comment.

Dimple Hayathi appeared in films like, Khiladi, Gaddalakonda Ganesh and Ramabanam. She is also set to appear in Sharwanand’s upcoming periodic drama, Sharwa 38, directed by Sampath Nandi.
