Nani is set to team up with director Sujeeth, who recently directed They Call Him OG, for a new film officially launched today in Hyderabad. The muhurtham puja ceremony was held on the occasion of Dussehra, with actor Venkatesh attending as the chief guest. Several filmmakers who have worked with Nani before, including Rahul Sankrityan, Srikanth Odela, Shouryuv, and Ram Jagadeesh, were also present.
The project, currently referred to as #NANIxSUJEETH, was originally announced in April 2024 as #BloodyRomeo under DVV Entertainment. However, the earlier production banner reportedly stepped back due to budget issues.
Niharika Entertainment, in collaboration with Unanimous Productions, has now taken over the film. Niharika Entertainment, led by Venkat Boyanapalli, previously produced Nani’s Shyama Singha Roy, which was a hit.
The film is said to be a dark comedy with Sujeeth’s signature action. Shooting is expected to start after Nani completes his current project, The Paradise. The makers plan to release the film at the end of 2026. More details about the cast and crew are yet to be announced.
