My Daughter Was Asked To Send N*des, Says Bollywood Superstar

Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar has revealed a shocking incident of cybercrime and sexual abuse against his 13-year-old daughter. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 in Mumbai, Akshay said that the incident occurred a few months ago.

Speaking about the increasing threat of cybercrimes, Akshay revealed that his daughter was playing a video game with a stranger online who first asked if she was male or female. Soon after Akshay’s daughter revealed that she was female, the stranger had asked her to send him her nude pictures.

“It was my daughter, and she switched off the whole thing, and she went and told my wife. It is great that she went and told my wife about it. This is how things begin. This is also a part of cybercrime. Some children may get carried away, and one may even end up getting extorted. Many cases of suicide happened,” said the actor-father with deep concern.

Akshay went on to appeal to the Maharashtra Chief Minister to include a cyber period every week in the seventh to tenth standards, and children should be taught about cyber crimes and online safety. “This crime is becoming bigger than street crime. It is very important to stop this,” Akshay said.

Akshay’s gesture of sharing the entire incident of cybercrime faced by his daughter and his concern to create awareness so such crimes will not happen in the future is winning everyone’s hearts.
