Pawan Kalyan’s OG was released on 25th September, and when it did, all other movies were put on hold. The audiences ignored films like Little Hearts, Mirai, Kishkindhapuri, and Beauty. OG was prioritized over all, and it was released grandly, with a blockbuster talk. However, it slowed down after 1 week.
With Kantara: Chapter 1 ruling the box office across the nation, OG also slowed down, and it is clearly evident in front of us. After a good and successful run of a week, OG could not pick up. Until the festival day, the movie managed very well, but with the release of Kantara, the family audiences are preferring it over the A-certified-OG.
Despite the holiday season not ending, there is still a chance for OG to bring in more revenue at the box office. The Saturday and Sunday this week will be crucial for the movie’s performance. Rishab Shetty’s Kantara was released in a good number of theatres and the festival factor worked big time for the film.
OG is so far successful for the producer but the film has to earn more to put the distributors in the safe zone. We have two more days until the holiday season ends. More details on the same are awaited.
