While films are OG and Kantara Chapter: 1 are entertaining audiences in theatres, there are a series of anticipated films, from Mirai to War 2, which are gearing up for release on OTT. Here is a look at the major digital releases of this week.
1. Mirai – Jio Hotstar:
After having a sensational theatrical run till last week, Teja Sajja’s action-adventure film Mirai is gearing up for its digital release. It will premiere on Jio Hotstar on October 10. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, this movie features Manchu Manoj, Shriya Saran, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu and Ritika Nayak in other main roles.
2. War 2 – Netflix:
Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR-starrer War 2 had a grand theatrical release on August 14. After eight weeks, this spy action thriller is set for its OTT release on Netflix. War 2 will stream on Netflix from October 9 in multiple langauges.
3. Tribanadhari Barbarik – Sun NXT:
Satyaraj-starrer Tribanadhari Barbarik had its theatrical release on August 28. This Mohan Srivatsa directorial is now gearing up for OTT release on October 10 on Sun NXT. Vasishta N. Simha, Satyam Rajesh, Udaya Bhanu and Sanchi Rai played other key roles in it.
