Young starlet Krithi Shetty emerged as one of the most-sought-after heroines in Tollywood after her debut film ‘Uppena’ turned out be an outright blockbuster. Her glamorous screen presence and flawless performance made her a big favourite among youth audience. She consolidated her career with subsequent hits like Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraraju and set sights on joining the next league of heroines.
Unfortunately, she witnessed a spate of flops with films like Custody, Manamey, The Warrior and Macherla Niyojakavargam ending as debacles. This streak has impacted her career bigtime and drained offers in Tollywood. However, Tamil film industry came to her rescue as she bagged plump chances besides notable actors in Kollywood. Three years ago, she signed three prominent Tamil projects and completed shooting for them. But, these films faced significant delays due to production issues.
Now, all these three films are gearing up for release in the same month. Reportedly, she will have three releases in December this year. Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar, Pradeep Ranganathan’s Love Insurance and Ravi Mohan’s Genie will hit the screens in a span of few days in December.
While Vaa Vaathiyaar directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy is billed as an action comedy, Love Insurance is tipped to be a youthful entertainer. Genie is a fantasy adventure drama. Krithi Shetty has pinned all her hopes on these films. She is hoping to revive her low lying career by scoring at least one big hit this December.
