Famous Pandit Duo Onboard for Akhanda 2 BGM

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda, released in 2021, was widely praised for its background score. Thaman’s music, especially in action sequences, made a strong impact in theatres. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see how he approaches the sequel, Akhanda 2 Thaandavam.

Akhanda 2 is set to release in the first week of December. The film marks the next collaboration between Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu, who have previously delivered three successful films together.

Thaman has already started working on the background score, completing the first half. He said in recent interviews that the score will take the film’s music experience to a new level. Adding to the excitement, the famous Pandit duo Shravan Mishra and Atul Mishra have joined the project.

Known for their recitation of shlokas and Vedic verses, the duo will contribute to the film’s background score. Makers announced this collaboration officially on Sunday, highlighting Thaman’s effort to make the music of Akhanda 2 special.

Akhanda 2 stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyukta Menon, and Aadi Pinisetty. The film is written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under 14 Reels Plus, and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri. Thaman S is composing the music.
