‘Success Brings Credit, Failure Brings Me All The Blame’

Siddu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming film Telusu Kada, co-starring Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna, has made a strong impression with its promotional content, particularly the trailer, which has significantly raised expectations.

Siddu describes Telusu Kada as an original film filled with fresh, never-before-seen scenes. “It’s a love story that explores love, marriage, and family relationships, but every scene is presented in a unique way,” he shares.

“Neeraja has written strong roles for both Raashii and Srinidhi, but the hero’s character is the strongest of all. I feel this film could even create its own genre after release. Neeraja’s vision was refreshing. I told her from day one that I’d only be part of the project if the character worked for me, and it did. It’s right on the edge. The dialogues about love and life hit hard.”

Confident about the film’s impact, he adds, “I always have high expectations of myself. I stay with the team until the very last moment to ensure we’re creating something truly special. After watching the final DTS cut, I’m thrilled, I believe the audience will feel the same way.”

Siddu also praised producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad for their support. “They gave us complete creative freedom and were very cooperative. We’ve worked together before on Mr. Bachchan. If a good script comes along, I’d love to act alongside Ravi Teja again.”

Reflecting on the highs and lows of cinema, Siddu made a candid remark. “If a film is a hit, the credit of success is shared by everyone. But if it fails, it brings me all the blame. I’m here because I’m ready to own that.”

He’s optimistic that Telusu Kada will make a big splash at the box office.
